Past challenges
This challenge asked you to solve real-life problems via invention. We asked you to think about the problems those living in rural areas face and think up some creative solutions!
We worked with the Nerve Belfast Creative Learning Centre to ask pupils to invent on the theme and meaning of 'home' and what 'home' could mean for future generations.
Along with the Nerve Centre, we linked with four local schools to hold creation workshops, this resulted in over 200 fantastic ideas. The theme was 'save' which could be applied to so many things, such as how to save time, how to save the environment, and so much more! Eight inventions were made real by a team of makers.
